Adult Fellowship Trip to Mac-Haydn Theatre

All are invited to join the St. Peter Adult Fellowship group for their annual trip to Mac-Haydn Threatre in Chatham, NY, on Wednesday, August 1, for the musical production of “Kiss Me, Kate.” “Another Openin’, Another Show” brings merry mix-ups with old, new and ongoing romances, gangsters, and lots of laughter and dance, all to the tune of Cole Porter’s greatest songs: “From This Moment On,” “It’s Too Darn Hot,” and “Wunderbar!”

Cost is $44 per person which includes transportation, lunch and a ticket to the 2:00pm show.

All those interested, should contact Martin Kenosian at 785-3140, or the church office, to reserve a ticket. There are a limited number of tickets and reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment must be received by June 30 to confirm your reservation.

2nd Annual 3 Hye Days of Faith & Fun

The St. Peter Armenian Church “Vacation Bible School” will be held this year Tuesday-Thursday, June 26-28, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day.

It is open to all students grades K-8. Each day will include prayer, Armenian storytelling, Armenian arts & crafts, singing, sports activities, snacks & lunch, movies & videos, fun games, and more.

Cost is only $40 for all three days. Parents, adults and teenagers are needed as volunteers.

Biggest Loser Contest for Fr. Stepanos & St. Peter Armenian Church

In an effort to be healthier, Fr. Stepanos has committed to losing 50 pounds — with your help. Pray for him during this journey; prepare healthy food when he visits your home; support him emotionally; lose weight along with him (if you need to); make a pledge to donate to the church.

Giving Opportunities: Gold Support, $10/pound; Silver Support, $5/pound; Bronze Support, $1/pound; Honorable Mention Support, any amount. For every pound that Fr. Stepanos loses, your donation will help the church with its various programs, outreach, and ministries.

Adult Fellowship Luncheon Meeting

The next meeting of the St. Peter Adult Fellowship group will be held on Wednesday, May 9 (instead of May 2). A catered luncheon featuring Chicken Parmigiana and all the Italian trimmings will be served.

Cost is $12 per person and reservations are required by calling Linda Kazanjian at 357-3183.

All adult members and friends of the St. Peter Armenian Church are cordially invited to this and all Adult Fellowship activities.

Women’s Guild Annual Mother’s Day Celebration

The St. Peter Women’s Guild will hold their annual Mother’s Day Celebration this year on Saturday, May 12, at the Ararat Center in Greenville, NY. A buffet brunch, including an omelet station, will be served starting at 12:30 p.m.

Cost is $22 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Carpooling is available and encouraged.

Reservations are required by May 7 and can be made by contacting Maria Derian (436-7447), Alice McMullan (371-6878), or Carol Tutunjian (785-9423).
