ARMENIAN HERITAGE MONUMENT GROUND CONSECRATION SERVICE:
The Knights & Daughters of Vartan are proud to announce that a Ground Consecration Service for the future Armenian Heritage Monument in Troy will take place at the Troy Riverfront Park this Friday, December 9, at 1:30 p.m. The monument will serve as recognition of Armenians who settled in and around the City of Troy. All are invited to attend the program being conducted under the auspices of Mayor Harry Tutunjian. In attendance will also include City of Troy Mayor-Elect Lou Rosamilla as well as City Council and State officials. Local Armenian clergy will lead the brief consecration service.
